As Newcastle Theatre Company celebrates 70 years on stage, we are asking our community to help secure its future. 

For seven decades, our theatre has been brought to life by the passion, creativity and generosity of our community. But right now, we are facing an urgent need to invest in our theatre. Rising costs, new fire safety and compliance requirements, ageing equipment and essential building works mean that some upgrades can no longer be postponed.

Our Help Us Keep the Lights On campaign aims to raise $70,000 to fund these critical works and ensure our theatre can continue to operate safely and welcome our community through its doors.

Your donation will contribute directly to essential compliance works, maintaining and improving our much-loved venue, replacing ageing equipment and supporting the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that allows every rehearsal, performance and community gathering to happen.
